The Nine Unknown Men- The fascinating story of Ashoka’s Nine Unknown Men

The Nine Unknown Men is considered to be World's most powerful society who protects the knowledge which includes Time Travel, propaganda and psychological warfare etc which are harmful to the mankind.

This powerful secret society was founded by Emperor Ashoka of India in 273 BC after a bloody KALINGA battle that took the lives of 100,000 men. After the Kalinga War, Ashoka understood the extent of damage the world has to endure if power goes into the wrong hands and hence, formed a secret society consisting of Nine men.

The Nine men were each given one book to guard. Each of the books contained supreme knowledge which could help mankind into evolving but if in wrong hands, the knowledge could destroy humanity in the whole world.

The knowledge of past and present as well as natural science was vowed to secrecy. Henceforth and for next 2000 years that followed, all the knowledge that was developed was hidden in these secret books.

It is to be believed that each book contains the information which are as follows-

First Book- Propaganda which deals with techniques of propaganda and psychological warfare. The most dangerous of all sciences is that of molding mass opinion, because it would enable anyone to govern the whole world.

Second Book- Physiology which explains how to kill a person simply by touching him or her, known as the “the touch of death,” simply by the reversal of a nerve impulse.

Third BookMicrobiology which focused on microbiology and biotechnology.

Fourth Book- Alchemy which deals with alchemy and transmutation of metals. According to another legend, in times of severe drought, temples and religious relief organizations received large quantities of gold from a secret source.

Fifth Book- Communication which contained a study of all means of communication, terrestrial and extraterrestrial. Alluding then that the Nine Unknown Men were aware of alien presence.

Sixth BookGravity which focused on the secrets of gravitation and actual instructions on how to make the ancient Vedic Vimana, like Vaiminika Shastra on aerospace technology.

Seventh Book- Cosmogony which contains knowledge of cosmogony and matters of the universe.

Eighth Book- Light which deals with light including the speed and how to use it as a weapon.

Ninth Book- Sociology this ninth and final book discussed sociology. It included rules for the evolution of societies and the means of foretelling their decline.

Qizai- The only Brown Panda! in the World

Qizai, means ‘the seventh son’ was the only Brown panda abandoned by his mother at 2 months old was found as a weak and neglected cub in a nature reserve in Qingling Mountains in Central China. Apparently, his mother disappeared into the jungle, but one thing is sure – she was black and white.

The brown panda is rare as only seven have been spotted in the Qinling region in the last 25 years.

Qizai is the seventh brown panda bear and he’s being raised at the Foping Panda Valley in the Shaanxi province in China. Qizai which translates to “the seventh son,” is a happy and loving gentle animal who like other panda bears loves to feast on bamboo.

His keeper He Xin describes Qizai as "gentle, funny and adorable."Other pandas use to eat Qizai's bamboo. "He is slower than the other pandas, but he is also cuter," says He Xin.

Qizai now weighs more than 220 pounds and eats around 44 pounds of bamboo every day.

Therefore, the fact that Qizai has a brown and white coat is even more intriguing. Scientists guess that it’s due to some genetic mutation. Despite his tough childhood, Qizai, now at age 7, has turned into a fine specimen, and Chinese experts are planning to find him a mate.

Being able to observe and study the appearance of his child, researchers would get a step closer to solving brown fur’s mystery.

Sixty Eight Year Old Snooty - The Oldest Manatee Living In Captivity

Oldest manatee, Snooty (68 years old) enters Guinness World Records 2017

The Guinness World Records recently announced that Snooty,68 years old is now the world's oldest manatee living in captivity. According to the Florida Fish and Wildlife Conservation Commission, which monitors manatee populations, the oldest wild manatee in Florida was 59 years old with the next oldest having reached 48 years of age.

Manatees are also known as sea cows and can weigh over 3,000 pounds. Most manatees living in the wild die before they reach the age of 10. Algae blooms, fishing debris and boat strikes threaten these gentle giants, which are listed as "vulnerable" by the International Union for Conservation of Nature (IUCN).

Snooty was born on July 21, 1948 was brought to South Florida Museum as an 11-month-old calf in 1949. He lives in South Florida Museum is located at 201 10th Street West in downtown Bradenton.

Snooty's long lifespan is due to the controlled environment he lives in. He lives in a 60,000-US-gal (230,000-litre) pool with two other manatees. He's more interested in people.

Manatees population had significantly dropped due to increase in use of marine life by humans, but they are currently protected. Earlier most manatees use to die before they reach the age of 10.

New fossil autopsy say that "Lucy" fell from tree

Lucy, an ancient ambassador of a prehuman species called Australopithecus afarensis, fell from a tree in Ethiopia nearly 3.2 million years ago, killing one of humankind's most famous ancestors, believe researchers at the University of Texas based on a detailed digital examination of the fossil.

Some of the damage to Lucy’s 3.2-million-year-old partial skeleton most likely occurred when she fell from a height of 13 meters or more, say paleoanthropologist John Kappelman of the University of Texas at Austin and his colleagues.

Kappelman was the lead author of the study on Lucy.

Bone breaks from head to ankle fit a scenario in which Lucy dropped the equivalent of least four to five stories, landing feet first before thrusting her arms out in an attempt to break her fall, Kappelman says.

Tellingly, the ancient female’s right shoulder blade slammed into the top of her upper arm bone, Kappelman says. The shoulder end of Lucy’s arm bone displays sharp breaks, as well as bone fragments and slivers forcibly driven into the shaft.

Paleoanthropologist Donald C. Johanson, who helped find the bones in the 1970s, told the Times that it was more likely that the fractures occurred long after her death, as her skeleton was buried under sand rather than a tree fall.
Paleoanthropologist Tim White of the University of California said that Cracks and breaks throughout Lucy’s skeleton occurred after her death.

Bone cracking was caused by fossilization and by pressure on fossils embedded in eroding sandstone. Fossilization-related breakage much like Lucy’s including extensive shoulder-joint damage appears on the bones of a variety of non climbing animals, including gazelles, hippos and rhinos.

Giant Mysterious World’s Oldest Man-made Sphere unearthed in forest in Bosnia

The giant ball of rock (or) the ‘stone ball’ was discovered by Bosnian archaeologist Semir Osmanagic  near the town Zavidovici in central Bosnia and Herzegovina.

The giant ball of rock has radius of between four and five feet (1.2 to 1.5 metres) and is extremely iron rich.

Semir Osmanagic said that it is the heaviest man-made ball in the world.

The phenomenon of stone balls has been linked with ancient civilisations around the world with the most famous being the stone spheres of Costa Rica.

Semir Osmanagic believes that the sphere proves the existence of an advanced lost civilisation dating back more than 1,500 years ago.

Dr Osmanagic, is known as "the Bosnian Indiana Jones" .

The phenomenon of stone balls has been linked with ancient civilisations around the world with the most famous being the stone spheres of Costa Rica.

In total there are around 300, weighing up to 15 tonnes, which are believed to have been created by the now extinct Diquis culture, potentially making them up to 1,500 years old.

It is unclear how they were created but it is believed they were first sculpted from a local stone before being hammered and polished with sand.

According to his fellow researcher Dr. Sam Osmanagich, the region used to have many more of the spheres well into the 20th century. Many were apparently destroyed in the 1970s due to rumours there was gold hidden in the middle of them.

Lost Empire-Archeologists Discovered 1,400-year-old Hidden City Beneath the Cambodian Jungle

Cambodia's magnificent temple complex at Angkor Watt known as one of the most popular tourist destinations in the world using cutting-edge laser technology scientists has unearthed numerous vast medieval cities buried under the tropical forest floor – some of them believed to be larger than the country’s capital Phnom Penh.
Australian archaeologist Dr Damian Evans, announced that cutting-edge airborne laser scanning technology has revealed multiple cities between 900 and 1,400 years old beneath the tropical forest floor, some of which rival the size of Cambodia’s capital, Phnom Penh.

That survey uncovered an array of discoveries, including elaborate water systems that were built hundreds of years before historians believed the technology existed. The findings are expected to challenge theories on how the Khmer empire developed, dominated the region, and declined around the 15th century, and the role of climate change and water management in that process.

The new cities were found by firing lasers to the ground from a helicopter to produce extremely detailed imagery of the Earth’s surface. Evans said the airborne laser scanners had also identified large numbers of mysterious geometric patterns formed from earthen embankments, which could have been gardens.

Dr Evans, a fellow at École Française d’Extrême-Orient in Siem Reap, used cutting-edge light detection technology known as lidar to conduct his research in the region.

He used scanners to fire lasers to the ground from a helicopter and measure how long it took for each pulse to bounce back, creating an extremely detailed 3D model of the Earth’s surface.

The technology can penetrate dense forest canopies to detect buildings as well as the remains of roads, aqueducts, caves and manmade borders between different areas.

LIDAR:

Lidar is a remote sensing technology that measures distance by shooting a laser at a target and analysing the light that is reflected back.

The technology was developed in the early 1960s and uses laser imaging with radar technology that can calculate distances.
It was first used in meteorology to measure clouds by the National Center for Atmospheric Research.
The term lidar is a portmanteau of 'light and 'radar.'

Lidar uses ultraviolet, visible, or near infrared light to image objects and can be used with a wide range of targets, including non-metallic objects, rocks, rain, chemical compounds, aerosols, clouds and even single molecules.

A narrow laser beam can be used to map physical features with very high resolution.

Cat with Two Heads

******  Frank and Louie, a cat with two faces  *******

Frank and Louie, a cat with two faces! He’s not two conjoined twins, he is a single cat with two faces.

The condition is called “Diprosopus” and Frank and Louie is the oldest known surviving cat who suffers from it.

"Diprosopus" is caused by a malfunction in development in the sonic hedgehog protein (yes, that’s a real protein).

Frank and Louie - 'Frankenlouie' - was brought to Tuffs University in North Grafton by a breeder in September 1999 to be euthanized.

Known as a Janus cat, named for a Roman god with two faces, broke a Guinness World Record in 2012 as the oldest surviving Janus cat.

Frank and Louie does not seem bothered by his condition and has developed a very friendly personality.

While blind in his center eye, both his outer eyes worked fine, and while he had two noses and mouths, he had only one brain.

'Frankenlouie', the world's oldest Janus cat - a feline with two faces - died at the age of 15 on Thursday December 4, 2014.

The cat's owner, Marty Stevens, said veterinarians believe the cause of death was cancer.

The breed is known for its soft and silky fur, docile temperament and penchant for relaxing in a person’s arms like a rag doll.
