Bandra Worli sea link is officially called as Rajiv Gandhi Sea Link was commissioned by Maharashtra State Road Development Corporation (MSRDC) was built between Bandra in the western suburbs of Mumbai and Worli in South Mumbai by Hindustan Construction Company with an expense of US $ 250 million(Rs 16 billion).
Through this Sea Link, it can reduce the travel time from 60-90 minutes to nearly 20 minutes during peak hours which have a daily of around 40,000 vehicles.

2. The total weight of the bridge is equal is 50,000 African Elephants.
3. The height of the bridge is 63 times the height of Qutub Minar.
4. Total of 90,000 tons of cement has been used which can be used to construct 10 storeys of five buildings.
5. The Rs 90 million project of illuminating the whole bridge has been implemented by Bajaj Electricals.
